Photography workshops are popping up all over the place.  The chance to meet with fellow photographers and unleash your creativity on a styled shoot sounds great in essence, but who do you trust with your time and money? After much deliberation I picked a workshop run by Jonny Draper held at Owen House Wedding Barn.  I definitely made the right choice. Always an extra special treat when your friends ask them to shoot their wedding.  Chrissy and Alex got married just before Christmas at the Plough and Harrow in Birmingham. What a peaky blinding day! I thought I'd share a few of the photos I took and later edited at Amy and Tom's wedding in March of this year when I had the chance to second shoot for the lovely Lisa Carpenter. I do love second shooting as it gives the chance to hunt for quirky angles and beautiful shots that differ to those of the main photographer.
